Louise Knecht
Having previously practised in Indian head massage and reflexology, Louise gained her I-ACT certification in colonic irrigation before opening her own clinic. She has also studied holistic nutrition which compliments her work in hydrotherapy.
My personal journey to a colonic hydrotherapist is rooted in my own
health problems some years back. Having suffered for some time with
Irritable Bowel Syndrome, which at its worst was extremely
debilitating, I looked for something which would bring relief from
my symptoms. This was found not only in addressing my diet in which I cut
out certain foods that were aggravating my stomach, but mostly in colonic
hydrotherapy; a therapy which turned my life around.
This led to me decide to train to help others with a condition that the
doctors seem unable to help with.

Karen first came across EFT and NLP when a family member was experiencing problems with sports performance. He seemed to be very strong and physically fit, had great technique and a huge amount of experience, but still in competition did not live up to expectations.
On recommendation Karen suggested he tried NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming). Karen was lucky enough to be able to sit in on the first consultation and was amazed by the effect these techniques had in such a short time. Karen decided then and there to pursue learning NLP and went on to complete a Practitioners course followed by a Master Practitioners course and continuing onto becoming a Trainer in NLP. During this time Karen also experienced EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique)and realised how this technique would be perfect to accompany and complement NLP. Karen has since added Emo Trance to her toolkit and finds the combination of the three a dynamic package.
Karen has utilised these tools ever since with clients either in face to face or telephone consultations. Karen also run workshops and training created for groups.
Karen attends many workshops and courses on a regular basis as she believes coaching and therapy is constantly evolving and it is important to keep learning.
Karen is a member of the Association for the Advancement of Meridian Therapies, qualified through the American Board of NLP and a Member of the Sidereus Foundation.
Karen works on the following principles:
- Everyone is unique
- Everyone possesses the necessary resources

- Every behaviour has a positive intention
- Everyone is able to change by building empowering strategies.
